Syntax

On Thursday and Friday in class, syntax is taught. Syntax is one of the five AP skills. The others are tone, diction, detail, and imagery. Two packets are provided. Then, students must include syntax analysis in the powerpoint presentation for the six chapters assigned.

2. Highlight the article “Pride and Prejudice and the English Class System”
3. Highlight FYI packet on the background of Pride and Prejudice
(pick a partner and read a paragraph as the other partner summarizes)
4. Field Trip tomorrow (Leave 1st hour at 8:15 a.m., then go to your locker, then the bus. Buses leave at 8:30. Sit with your platoon. Get three tickets on the bus. Follow theatre etiquette.
